A valuable foliage plant with the added bonus of pale pink feathery plumes in mid summer. 

Height 50 cm. Spread 60 cm.

Grow in sun or partial shade in any reasonable garden soil.

Can be used for cut flowers.

Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10 cm pot.

A Hard to get Astilbe Chocolate Shogun.

No herbaceous planting should be without this plant. It has a dark chocolate leaf with a brillant flower. Not every nursery stock this rare enough plant. For the foliage alone it is worth its place in any planting.
