Berkheya purpurea
Striking large lilac daisy flowers and prickly silvery foliage. A native to South Africa found on the mountain slopes and can cope with frosts and snow, it just needs good drainage .
Height 75cm. Spread 60cm.
Grow in full sun and well drained soil.
Attractive to pollinators.
Cut down flower spikes after flowering.
Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10cm pot.
