Eryngium 'Big Blue'

Also known as Sea Holly.

A nice variety that has very intense bright blue flower heads. Attractive to bees and other important pollinators. The seed heads can be left uncut over the winter to add extra interest to the garden in winter.

Height 70 cm. Spread 60 cm.

Grow in sun and well drained soil.

Can be used as a cut flower or seed heads can be dried for indoor winter decorations.

Cut to the ground in early spring.

Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10 cm pot.

Eryngium 'Big Blue'

I received 5 x Eryngium 'Big Blue' from Bean Place as part of a bigger order. Unfortunately, Eryngium 'Big Blue' plants' bottom leaves were yellow suggesting that they are low in Nitrogen and have not been potted up to keep plant health. I hope plants will recover in the soil. The rest of the plant order was fine.
