Celebrating 25 years in business

2022 sees us celebrating 25 years in business

We have come along way since 1997 when we first started out by renting a third of an acre of land at Bethersden.

We often reminisce about our times at Bethersden as this was the starting block for us to be in charge of our own destiny. 

We sometimes laugh about a comment my mum once made about the site at Bethersden having more room than we would ever need. Unfortunately she passed away in 2000 so never got to see us expand our business to the point we were able to buy our own land in Headcorn. We often wonder what she would think of the nursery, garden and home we have created on our own five acre site.

Over the last 25 years we have travelled around the country selling our plants at various shows, meeting many interesting people along the way. Our business has faced different challenges throughout the years but with hard work and sometimes just shear determination we have made it through to this special year.    

We are planning to have a couple of special events in 2022 when we will be opening our garden at Watersfield for charity in aid of the Kent, Surry, Sussex Air Ambulance. Plants and refreshments will also be available. We will be opening over three days in June 10th 11th & 12th and three days in September 16th 17th & 18th . A small admission fee will apply of £3.00 per person (children free) 100% of the money raised from the admission will be going to charity to keep this vital service in the air.
