Formally known as Aster novi-belgii 'Crimson Brocade'

The common name for this group is New York Aster.    

Stunning deep crimson semi double flowers with a bright golden center.

Height 90cm. Spread 60cm

Grow in sun or partial shade.

Good cut flower.

Mulch the soil around each plant to reduce dryness at the roots to prevent mildew

Cut back to the ground in late autumn. Divide in spring every third year to maintain vigour 

Attractive to bees and butterflies.

Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10cm pot.
