Astrantia major 'Sunningdale Variegated'
Commonly known as the great masterwort or Aunt Hattie's pincushion.
Before the flowers even appear attractive unevenly margined creamy yellow leaves provide a splash of colour to your garden before they turn green as the summer progresses. The flowers are a pale pinkish-white and appear in early summer.
Height 75cm. Spread 60cm.
Grows in sun or partial shade in moisture retentive soil.
Deadhead to prolong flowering.
Good for beneficial insects.
Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10cm pot.
