Veronicastrum virginica 'Cupid'
Common name Culvers root.
An upright perennial with purple tinges on the new foliage. Flower spikes of lilac blue flowers appear from summer to autumn. Turns a golden yellow in the autumn before going brown for the winter.
Height 90 cm. Spread 45 cm
Grow in sun or partial shade in average garden soil.
Attractive to bees and butterflies.
Cut back to the ground in spring.
Supplied as a garden ready plant in a 9x9x10 cm pot.
